Alphonse Persico, also known as "Allie Boy," was a high-ranking member of the Colombo crime family in New York City. He was born on August 8, 1931, in Brooklyn to Italian immigrant parents. Persico rose through the ranks of the Colombo family and became the acting boss in 1989 after his brother, Carmine Persico, was sentenced to prison.
